2007 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the
Christian Conference of Asia. Since its inception in March 1957, in Parapat, Indonesia,
CCA has faced many challenges in doing God's mission for justice, peace, reconciliation
and sustainable development in the region. There were times of joy and sorrow, times of
difficulties and of celebration. In continuing to be God's instrument for bringing love, peace, unity and the fullness of life in the years ahead, we have scheduled events to bring together members form member churches, councils and ecumenical partners who have journeyed with the CCA over the past 50 years. The events would especially be a time for review and reflection as well as joyous celebration as a united body in Christ.
